Java Fern is a very popular plant in shrimp tanks. Very low demands regarding lighting and fertilisation makes this an ideal starter plant. Java ferns come in a variety of leaf shapes. Similar to Anubias they have to be attached to decoration, wood or rocks with the rhizome not being covered by the substrate.
Java Fern mini tends to stay smaller overall, so is a great addition to a nano tank!
